David Richhart
Director National Accounts

In his sales role, Dave takes the time to understand what our customers need and communicates those needs to our team so that we can find a solution as quickly as possible. Dave was born and raised in Northeast Indiana on a small farm not unlike Old McDonald’s Farm depicted in children’s books. After marrying, he moved to Florida for a short period only to return to small town Indiana. Since joining Ellison, Dave has had the opportunity to serve as the Customer Service Manager, an Account Executive, and currently Director of National Accounts. Dave has a BS degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.

“The most exciting part of Ellison Bakery is our products and long standing customer relationships. Ellison products are very much solution orientated. Most who become customers of Ellison remain loyal trade partners for decades. Customers have grown to expect only the best from Ellison.”

Our Greatest Strength: Our People. I know that may sound cliché, however, I work alongside people who pour their heart and soul into delivering on the customers’ needs every day. There is a real sense of pride at Ellison. We have a rich heritage and unparalleled reputation in the industry. And that does not come without attracting and developing the best people in the industry.

Our Greatest Opportunity: Anticipating our customer’s needs, and their customer’s needs. We bake some of America’s most recognized cookie brands, and supply product to several of the globe’s largest food companies. Ellison must remain a step ahead of ever-changing customer demands, even before they recognize the need.

Favorite Baked Good: Ella’s Oven® Mini Salted Caramel Cookies. Crunchy, sweet, salty. You have got to try them!

Favorite Food: Seafood, I have a weakness for perfectly cooked sea bass.

Hobbies: When I am not working or spending time with the kids, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, trying new foods, seeing new sights. I am also learning to play the saxophone.

Ultimate vacation destination: Aruba. I have been several times and try to get back every year.
